The RAM Ambassador program began a few years ago. This program gives students the opportunity to become role models at RMS through assisting their fellow students. These students give tours to any new students coming into the district, they run step up day, and they will participate in activities that will better RMS.
RAM Ambassador applications are now available for students to pick up in the counseling office. They will be on Mrs. Yonker’s desk. The completed applications are due by November 21st. The application consists of the student questionnaire, Parent Consent Form, and Teacher Recommendation Form. In order to lighten the load on the teachers, we are no longer requiring you to complete a form. We are only asking that a minimum of 3 teachers sign the recommendation form. Your signature tells us that you recommend the student to become a RAM Ambassador. Students are required to be passing all of their classes and to have a clean discipline record (within the past month).
I know that the 5th and 6th grade students are not aware of the program. The 2 big things that we focus on are new student orientation and step up day. We also try to do 1 or 2 activities that improve RMS moral in some way.
If there are questions, have them see Dr. Brownfield or me. The link below contain the Application packet.
The Ringgold School District will be conducting random canine searches of the Ringgold High School and Ringgold Middle School during the school year. All property brought to the school buildings or grounds will be subject to this dog sniff/search.
